Product Description

As a firm believer in the body’s innate intelligence, and willingness to heal itself, I use various therapies and techniques that work with both mind and body.

All my work is informed by my training as a Meta Health Practitioner which is the study of how specific stress triggers, emotions and beliefs affect specific organ symptoms. It’s  the art, science and practice of Body-Mind-Social Health with a focus on how specific stress triggers, emotions and beliefs affect specific organ symptoms. Ultimately, it looks at the big picture (meta point of view) of illness and health. I utilise Meta Health within many of my treatments rather than as a standalone therapy.

I specialise in working with trauma, including PTSD having trained in Advanced BLAST Technique®, which is essentially the therapeutic effect of bilateral alternating stimulation on the stress response.

The BLAST Technique® (Bi-Lateral Analysis and Stimulation Treatment) started its incarnation in 2008 with its creator, psychotherapist Nick Davies. Research shows that in sufferers of PTSD and trauma, the structures in the right side of the brain are over stimulated and still acting as if there is an immediate threat. BLAST Technique® has proven to be an effective treatment. BLAST is also incredibly helpful with Anxiety, Phobias or Addictions.

Alongside, I offer Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT which is a crossover between counselling skills and complementary therapy working with the mind and trapped emotions stored in the body. Also, a Matrix Reimprinting Practitioner where both these therapies effectively supplement all other healing modalities available.

I use Bowen Technique as a highly effective yet gentle body work that suits most people for many health issues. I have trained in many aspects of Bowen Technique, and the capacity for healing, working with the body using Bowen never ceases to amaze me.

Baby Bowen, as childbirth puts tremendous pressure on the bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and cartilage of both you and baby. Whichever type of delivery occurred; natural, forceps, caesarean etc, all can cause physical trauma, which is why a new-born or toddler can benefit from Baby Bowen. Ideally, come with baby as soon as possible post birth, where significant improvement can be seen as baby is very sensitive, responding quickly to the minimal moves and pressure Baby Bowen offers.

Lymphatic Bowen because the lymphatic system performs three critical functions which makes it important to look after. A lymph system that is not properly functioning can trigger unexplained aches and pains all over the body. We have about 15 litres of lymph fluid in your body, three times more than the amount of blood. Lymphatic Bowen is suitable for anyone who feels that they could benefit from this wonderful therapy.

If scarring challenges you, then McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release Technique® (or MSTR®) which is a revolutionary new technique for changing the appearance and impact of scars on the body. Seeing is believing!

As an Holistic Therapist, I work with you as a whole-being.

If you are looking for a One-to-One Session with me on a particular issue or challenge, as you can see, I have a plethora of tools with an open heart and mind to offer.

My passion is to enable you to heal because your body wants to!
