Touching Lives was founded In 1999 by Carole Barnes after the birth of her 4th son. She chose the name Touching Lives because she would like to touch peoples lives in a profound way: Touching Lives has grown from a treatment room within her home to a beautiful Log Cabin in the garden nestled alongside the Longford River. Over the years it has expanded to offer various treatments and bespoke spa day experiences for corporate groups or a few friends a couple or some downtime for the individual… Whilst still retaining that personal touch !

In 2018 Carole expanded the business to incorporate yoga retreat days with Tina Moxon from Lotus&Laurel Yoga.

In March 2020 at the beginning of “lockdown” Carole  refurbished a dilapidated building and moved Touching Lives to The Utopia Rooms Zen Zone at Hampton Inspired Hub.  This was an incredible opportunity – Carole has a Moto “you never regret the things you do  – you only regret the things you didn’t do” after 20 months at The Utopia Rooms she has now returned to The Riverside Rooms with no regrets.
