About Bea Somer
In 2006, I graduated from Raworth International College in Dorking (accredited by the International Sports Massage Association) with a Diploma in Sports Therapy. Since then, I have completed further training and gained experience in a variety of different holistic treatments and weight and nutrition management. I specialise in treating sports injuries, posture related discomfort and tight and tense back, neck and shoulders with or without hot stones.
Suffering with spinal issues for years after my own pregnancy, I was advised to practise Pilates to strengthen my core and to release tension in my back and spinal area. My love for Pilates started to grow as my condition began to improve. It was then that I decided to train as a Pilates Instructor and to include Pilates within my services. I trained at Stott in London to become a mat work Pilates instructor. I have added more specific skills over the years such as Pilates for the more mature person, Pilates and Bone Health (hip and knee replacements), and Pre-and Post Natal Pilates and Strength Pilates.
By frequently taking part in exercise classes and my own daily exercises, I understand the beneficial effects that regular exercises have on your muscles and how much of a difference Pilates & Massage Therapy & Life Style coaching can make to your general wellbeing.
As a qualified Pilates and Yoga Instructor, I am able to advice on exercises that improve posture and strengthen core and back muscles.
After making an assessment of your posture, I can provide a full programme of massage treatments and preventative measures.
All of this enables me to offer a complete solution to your posture-related injuries and muscle tightness.
With my knowledge of weight and nutrition issues, I can offer you a total package which will leave you feeling strong, lean and “Amazing”.
